Here at the EOB,  we understand that, "People Need Jobs and Jobs Need People" . 

The EOB was created with the needs of the employer and the needs of the job seeker in mind. It is abundantly clear that the United States has the resources, technology, capital and organizations with the ability to employ people and people who wish to be employed.  It is also clear that the connection between the employer and the job seeker has been a difficult and arduous task.  Human Resource Departments, Recruiters and Staffing Agencies spend thousands of dollars and countless hours monthly, pursuing qualified candidates for their organizations and still fall short of staffing goals and critical position fulfillment.  While at the same time, the unemployed, employed and under employed individual spends countless hours perusing the internet, attending job fairs, career days and browsing the classifieds seeking a desired employer, in hopes of landing the right job for their skill sets. 

A quote from the Department of Labor Employment Situation Summary says, " Discouraged workers were not currently looking for work specifically, because they believed no jobs were available for them". .

This mindset alone was the inspiration and indication that a vehicle and platform such as the EOB was necessary.  The EOB is a cable television and radio broadcast segment, which allows the employer to showcase their organizational needs, while simultaneously informing the job seeker of what is available to them.
